Our Story

Connecting the Dots CDC was conceptualized in 2014 and began its operations in 2015. We became an official nonprofit organization in December 2017 after receiving our incorporation and 501(c)(3) status. Our nonprofit group has participated in various events throughout Albany County in New York, serving thousands of people in need of our assistance.

From 2015 to 2017, we have given away more than 600 toys (each year increasing) at an event called “Spirit of Giving” which originated from our outreach program called Bridge tha Gap. During Christmas, the organization supplies hundreds of families with winter wear, and toys for the kids. In addition we adopt some families in need.

We have also assisted various families and individuals in their time of need, many of whom were victims of natural disasters.

In 2018, Connecting the Dots CDC volunteered to help the American Red Cross at their “Sound the Alarm” event, installing fire alarms throughout the city of Albany.

More to come!
